Intraocular Lens Implant

After removing the cataract it needs to be replaced with a lens implant which will allow the eye to focus light. The lens implant is a foldable acrylic which is gently positioned where the cataract used to be and it stays in place permanently.

It does no usually shift in position and remains clear for life.
